Colleen Elsen, Massage Therapist: Colleen is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and has been at TAO since January 2005. Her skills include those in Reflexology, Myofascial Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Somatoemotional Release, prenatal massage, as well as Swedish, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone Massage. Colleen is a seasoned Licensed Massage Therapist in North Carolina and Missouri and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Carolyn Gordon, Massage Therapist: Carolyn is a graduate of Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY. Licensed in North Carolina, Alabama and New York, Carolyn has Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy Certification and also provides services in Swedish, Sports, Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone massage. She has a BA from Skidmore College and has been with TAO since March 2005.

Heather Smithson, Massage Therapist: Heather is a graduate of Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, Nationally Certified in therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, Licensed in North Carolina and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Heather is skilled in Clinical Neuromuscular and Structural Bodywork, Swedish & Shiatsu Massage, Reflexology, Craniosacral, Myofascial Release, Chair Massage and Pre- and Post-natal Massage.

Amber Sims, Massage Therapist: Amber is a graduate of the Center for Massage and Natural Health. Amber is Nationally Certified and Licensed by the State of North Carolina in the field of Massage and Bodywork Therapy. She has a BA in Religious Studies from Georgia State University and is skilled in Swedish Relaxation Massage techniques, as well as deep tissue and pregnancy massage.

Emily Morrison, Massage Therapist: Emily is a graduate of Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, and Licensed in the State of North Carolina. She also has an apprenticeship from Vital Being Natural Therapeutics in Asheville, NC. Emily is skilled in Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy, Connective Tissue Therapy, Sports Massage, Thai Yoga Massage and Hydrotherapy.

Daniel McCurry, Massage Therapist/Nail Technician: Daniel is a graduate of The Tennessee School Of Massage Therapy and The Knoxville Institute of Hair Design. Skills include, Native American Hot Stone Therapy, Sports Medicine for Massage Therapists, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy as well as Swedish massage and body care treatments. Daniel has seven years experience in the spa industry and is a Nationally Registered Massage Therapist and licensed in North Carolina and Tennessee.

Meredith Manning, Spa Manager/Stylist

Karen Howard, Esthetician: A graduate of Blue Ridge Community College and North Carolina certified in Cosmetology, Karen is also a Phytobiodermie Skin Care Specialist, using skills in lymphatic drainage and light therapy to access acupuncture points to administer non-invasive face lifts.

Angeline Belada, Esthetician: Another exciting addition to TAO, Angeline is a recent graduate of the Esthetics program at Blue Ridge Community College, where she also received her certification in Microdermabrasion and European Facials. In addition, Angeline is able to provide an array of skin care services, specific to all skin types.

Kimberly Hatherlee, Manicurist: Kim has been with The Asheville Oasis since February of 2006 and already has a strong, loyal clientele. She is a North Carolina State Certified Nail Technician with training in Gel Nails, “Relaxology”, and Nail Art. Kim also caters to bridal or grooms parties for Manicures and Pedicures.
